It's been a long three weeks to say the least and now the waiting will come to an end. As requested, here is a video announcement because I thought you'd all appreciate that more. That could just be my wishful thinking though...

I Have The Prize Money and Changes To Voting
Just because I want to keep you guys interested, I'm going to keep posting random information every three days or so. I want to build up as much hype for this as possible because otherwise you might lose interest with how long it'll take to get to the final and that wouldn't be very good or very fun for the hard-working duo that made it that far.
So today's little bits of information are as follows: my dad topped me up for a year today so I will definitely have the prize money when the time comes! You all need to say thank you to him even though he has no clue I'm giving away half a month's allowance... I'm so badass like that.
Secondly, I changed the way voting works! You can no longer see what percentage of the votes you have, which also means that you can't see whether you're winning or not. Unfair, I know, but I feel like this brings even more tension to the competition. You can also vote every day now instead of once a week. I'm really proud to announce we have almost two hundred votes in so far. :)
That's all I really wanted to say, but I'll end on a question for the sake of it: voting box in that post or voting box in the sidebar? I want your opinion, as usual.

Let The Voting Begin
This is it, ladies and gentlemen, the official voting for the top ten finalists of Miss TC 2011 starts right here. Any auditions posted now or any time in the future will unfortunately not be counted so congratulations to the twenty three people that commented during the four week time slot I gave you all. With that out of the way, let me remind you all of the rules and then you can all get started voting for your favourites!
I've set the poll to close on the twenty fifth of September at six thirty in the evening UK time. You can vote for ten people maximum every seven days, so if you vote for your top ten favourites right now you'll have to wait until this time next week to vote for them again. Who knows, you might change your mind in that time! The only serious rule is, however, that none of the finalists are allowed to beg or bribe for votes.
If I do see anyone doing this, you will be disqualified because it's just not fair to members that don't get as many page views or whose topics don't get clicked on as often. This isn't a popularity contest, remember, so don't turn it into that.
The prize still stands as one hundred shiny stardollars which will be awarded to the overall winner via StarBazaar. I'm not even considering second and third place prizes - for anyone that might be wondering - because that's just getting ridiculous and I'd end up spending half my SS allowance on this competition alone.
So, congratulations to everyone that's made it this far but unfortunately only ten people can continue on ever closer to the grand prize. Could it be you? There's only one way to find out. :)

Let's Talk Music
So, I've put a playlist of four or five songs (I don't remember which) on the side. If you like them - or if you don't - please tell me in the comments so I can change it to suit people's preferences. Or, alternatively, you can all suggest a song and I'll put a huge list on the side.
If you don't like the music being there, then I can either take it off altogether or just make it only play if you want it to. Of course, this is again totally up to you TC-er's, just like everything else on this blog is, except the colour scheme.
Also, I never asked you guys whether you like that prize. If you don't, I could always give an old DKNY or LE or something else instead of a hundred stardollars? I don't know what you guys want, but I'd personally prefer the money. :L

Voting Begins In A Week
It's been three weeks since the auditions first opened and so next Sunday they'll come to a close. So far we have eighteen entries from TC-er's new and old. All of the entries are familiar faces though, which is nice to see, and it'll be sad to see two thirds of them not make it through to the top ten, but there's always next year, huh?
The voting will probably stay up for two or three weeks, or else just long enough for us to get ten clear winners and no ties. I'd hate to have to do a tie breaker or something, especially considering I know and love pretty much all of the people that have auditioned. I'm hoping this won't turn into a popularity contest either... I hate it when that happens.
Also, the prize has been decided, which got some of you really excited. It is - drum roll please - one hundred shiny stardollar's and a t-shirt/camisole with Miss TC 2011 Winner written on it. Obviously, the hundred stardollars will be provided by me (so be grateful, lucky brats.)

Auditions For Miss TC 2011
Well, the public has spoken and today is the official start of Miss Twilight two thousand and eleven. You have three weeks to enter and the rules are in the absolutely huge post below this one. Just so we're one hundred and ten percent clear though, I'll repost the rules and what's going to happen in this first stage below. Remember you can only enter once, so check your entries carefully and make sure to follow the rules!
There's actually only one serious rule, but it still matters that you follow it: one entry per person: enter yourself or another person (with or without their permission, but if they don't want to do it and they reach the top ten then I will go onto the next person.) Don't be offended if you're not in the top thirty/top ten. And last but not least make sure you fill in every section of the form in legible English or else your entry will be disregarded.

Welcome to Miss Twilight Club
This idea is still in the early stages of creation, but I thought I might as well put it out there and see what you guys think. Every summer starting in twenty ten, Stardoll holds Miss Stardoll World, the competition which makes one member of the million or so that are actually active and makes them feel special for the couple of weeks they're on the homepage.
Since a fair share of well-known and extremely deserving Twilight members were banned last summer, we can no longer win or even participate in Miss Stardoll World. It's our own faults, of course, but I couldn't help but feel like those Twilight members deserve something else, something that can make them feel special forever, because their name will always be there as a Miss Twilight Club winner.
The competition - if I did decide to go through with it and if I managed to get prizes from somewhere - would be held every year in winter (the opposite time to MSW). The challenges would become harder each week. I think there'd be rules for entry, such as your first post in the club being over a certain period of time before and stuff on those lines, but other than that anyone could enter.
We would have three stages. The auditions, where everyone would comment their entry forms on a post on this blog and the first thirty legitimate entries would go through to the second round. Of course I'd have to hire some people to help me, because I don't plan on spending the entire end of my summer holidays looking through people's previous posts.
Then, there'd be the voting, where we'd invite the general public of Stardoll to vote for their favourites out of the thirty entries. Of course we'd have rules about voting and if if any of the top ten were caught begging for votes, broadcasting, writing "vote me for Miss TC" on their presentation or anything like that they would be disqualified for not playing fair. (I feel like a teacher, but oh well.)
After that, we'd have ten weeks of tense - ha ha I doubt it'd be that tense - competition. Each week, I would post a challenge on the blog. The remaining finalists would have three days to complete this entry and bring it back to me. I'd then post them all on the blog and the general Stardoll public (again) would vote for the ones they thought to be best.
Obviously, I would have no say in the voting, which is exactly the way I like it, because that way no-one can yell at me when they didn't get through to the next round/didn't even place in the top thirty. I think it'd just be easier if I stayed completely out of all voting and give other Twilight members a say in who gets kicked out and who actually takes home the prize.
I posted the idea in TC and a lot of people said they wanted to enter now, so as soon as I get back from my holidays at the end of August, I'll start taking entries for Miss TC two thousand and eleven! You can enter yourself or nominate someone else, but I've just thought of another rule: you must have a registered Blogger account/your username as your post name to enter either yourself or someone else.
Obviously I'll give you guys more information in three weeks or so, when we start taking entries. Please don't post below that you want to enter yourself or someone else, I think pretty much everyone does. I'll tell you more about the prize when I've figured out what it'll be myself. If you want me to advertise your blog down the side then make me a little logo for your blog (smaller than two hundred by two hundred pixels).
